Assalamualaikum and very good morning to everyone! For today's agenda, I have to talk about my e-portfolio for Usrah Budi so it may be a bit weird because before this I keep telling about my life so let's talk about some useful information (hmm maybe HAHAHHA). My Naqibah asked us to provide a blog and talk about 'hikmah' that we got from our poster or video. Oh, my group actually makes a poster only because we don't want to waste our time and it also easy to finish it, right?
Firstly, our group choose 'Adab towards Parents' that inspired by the era of Prophet Solomon A.S. about parents. So, when it becomes about parents we will think of our mom and dad. Adab towards parents is a serious issue because nowadays people not really care about the condition of their parents especially when they become adult and got a nice job. Adab towards parents is one of our responsibilities as their children. I would like to talk about how my group got the name for this poster first, the title is 'Old Folks. We Care A Lot' which means some children might think sending their parents to old folks home is a good decision for their future but someone of them might disagree with it. The title of 'We Care A Lot' is inspired by Netflix Movie from I Care A Lot.
The story is about old folks home and we think it is normal having someone more responsible than their child to take care of their parents but this story is not as simple as that. Old folks or we can say our parents, day by day they gonna turns old and weak, we don't even know what they think for their future. For sure, if we as good child we want to give them the best treatment like how they treat us when we were a child before. I am not sure I really good to talk about this and someone might think my statement is not really accepted. For me, we should listen to our parents' decision whether they want to stay at old folks home or they want to stay with their child. This is because, if we look at the positive side of old folks home, we can guarantee they will have the best treatment than us because we paid for the services as well, our parents also got friends to talk about their lives and they can enjoy with people who have same age like them. If we keep force them to stay with us, yes! It is a really good deed but we cannot guarantee their safety especially when we are not at home. We don't know what happens to them if we are not with them, this case might happen if our parents have some critical disease like diabetes they cannot carry heavy thing after their appointment or someone who has Alzheimer, maybe they cannot remember where their house. The reason why I willing to send them to old folks home if they really want it because of the Netflix series, Navillera acted by Song Kang.

The last 4 episode of this series is freaking sad episode for me because the family of Shim Deok Chul (the old man) know the truth, that he has Alzheimer but Shim Deok Chul still want to pursue his dream as a ballerino even he is around 70 years old. I do not really remember which episode talks about the old folks home but Deok Chul's granddaughter, said they have to listen whatever the grandfather's decision whether he wants to go old folks home or not. He said he rather go to old folks home because he cannot stay at home with his condition, how if he forgot his own family? That episode really killed me, I cried a lot and suddenly I realize there also have some positive side to sending them to old folks home because before this I think sending our parents to old folks home means we want to free from the burden. There is also have some issue that I want to share one video regarding this topic, this video has been viral before and broadcasted by Buletin Utama TV3.

We might see the news and we said her children are really terrible but we don't even know the truth about her family. This issue became viral because someone posted "Who are the children of this woman?" Luckily, on that night, her daughter-in-law posted on her Facebook about her mother, she said actually her mother dumped her first child because her first child is not rich and she also refused her child from taking care of her. From this issue, I can say we cannot assume every people have the same problem and we cannot listen to one side only just like this situation if the children did not tell the truth about her family we still said that her children are a terrible person because dumped her mother but now we know who dumped the family first.
To conclude my Usrah E-Portfolio, I would like to say whoever we are we have to listen to what our parents need because every need that they want is also for our goodness. Also, a big thanks to my Naqibah because she asked every student to do this e-portfolio in website form, even I am not familiar to do the education form in my blog but now I'm tried my best!
